We are celebrating the fact we get to welcome a new asset, now part of our growing team of experts. On July 1st, 2019, Steve Thornhill joined our organization as a Salesforce Consultant. With over eight years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, Steve is a great fit for Appsolutely. We are looking forward to his promising input, as well as our contribution to his growth as a professional.
Who is Steve Thornhill?
“Originally from the United States, my wife Sandra and I have called the Netherlands our home for ten years. We have recently joined the New Parents in their 40’s club and love spending every minute with our 8-month-old son, Stef.
While enjoying multiple roles within the CRM space for 8 years, I naturally gravitated towards the Salesforce ecosystem and began my search to join a highly respected Salesforce partner. That’s how I found my place here at Appsolutely. My new colleagues will find me as an approachable, team-oriented person who they can constantly count on to meet our goals while having a great time doing it.
I am an active participant in the Salesforce Ohana Community, acting as a Co-Founder of Salesforce Saturday - Den Haag and a core member of YeurDreamin’ one of the largest Salesforce user-led events in Europe.”

What makes you the right fit for Appsolutely?
“Building rapport and trust with your customers is the cornerstone to any successful business. I believe that we can learn a lot from our customers by simply asking questions and listening. Appsolutely does a tremendous job by turning this feedback into impactful solutions that allow their customers to get the most out of their Salesforce investments.
My background in sales helps me to understand complex user experiences. In the end, the solutions and tools are only as good as the people that use them, so being able to influence adoption by being empathetic towards end-users will help us build this trust. Once you have this, the chances of you being invited back to the table to discuss and solve additional opportunities become greater.
I look at all opportunities strategically. Successful companies do this year around and it forces them to recognize that they must be innovative and open to constant change. This allows them to make logical and confident decisions. Let’s be honest, this makes life as a consultant much easier and we should all strive to think this way more often.”
Where do you see yourself in the future?
“My focus, for now, will be on how to become a fantastic consultant, father, and husband.”
