Analytical. Perfectionist. And a self-confessed nerd! These words describe our newest colleague, Nathaniel Cholinski, who joins Appsolutely as a Salesforce consultant. He is looking forward to meeting his colleagues and facing interesting challenges that his new job will bring. Let’s hear from him.
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Sure. I am 25 years old. I currently live in Lelystad and was born in Dordrecht. I studied information systems at the University of Amsterdam. Post graduation, I started working as a Salesforce consultant with Accenture on Sales Cloud and Service cloud. After that I switched roles and joined Stella as a business application manager.
Why did you choose Appsolutely?
My first brush with Appsolutely was during my time at Accenture where I had the opportunity to implement one of their AppExchange solutions. Later, when I started talking with Appsolutely, they made it clear that the company has a definite vision of what they want to do and where they want to head. It resonated with me and inspired me. I also think it will be a great company for me to develop myself further.
What will you be doing at Appsolutely?
I will be working as a Salesforce consultant. In this role, I will be gathering business requirements and translating them into solutions within Salesforce. It’s quite a dynamic role that involves a lot of problem-solving. Makes it fun and challenging!
What challenges and goals do you see for yourself?
The fun thing about consultancy is that there is always so much to learn. After a short break from consultancy, I would like to further develop my skills by applying the lessons that I have learned while working on the client’s side in my previous job. I would like to be quicker with breaking the ice and picking up the project. Along with this, I also want to gain more Salesforce certifications.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like watching TV series and movies. I also like reading comic books. I enjoy the fantasy genre. I also like board games. I am a bit of a nerd, really. Though what I enjoy the most is miniature painting, something I have been doing for 2 years now.
How would you describe yourself?
I am a very analytical person. I would say I always look at the big picture and work from there. I want to delve into what is happening and identify current and potential problems. Maybe because there is a bit of a perfectionist in me as well.
What are your expectations from your new job?
I am really looking forward to meeting my new colleagues as well as getting to know the work culture at Appsolutely. Most of all, I hope to sink my teeth in some interesting projects.
