We are delighted to introduce our newest addition to the Appsolutely team: Loan Nguyen! Originally from Vietnam, she grew up in the Netherlands and currently lives in the Hague. She joins Appsolutely as Lead Salesforce Consultant and is eager to bring the internal organization to the next level. Let’s hear more about her!
How would you define yourself personality-wise?
I am a very energetic, enthusiastic, and cheerful person. As a real team player, I like to connect people with each other and support them in their development. Communication-wise I am open and prefer to tell it like it is, instead of beating around the bush. When it comes to my job, I am critical and results oriented. With my strong people skills, I hope to contribute to Appsolutely by building and maintaining valuable relationships, both internally and externally.
What did you do prior?
After studying Economics and Marketing at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, I worked as a Consultant at Deloitte for seven years. This is where I first became acquainted with Salesforce. After this, I have worked at PostNL for four years, first as Lead Application Consultant and then as Project Manager IT.
What makes your day great work wise?
For me, a working day is successful when together with all stakeholders, I have realized that which we had in mind. The human side is very important to me. When the team is satisfied with what we have accomplished, I am satisfied as well.
What will be a challenge?
That’s a tough question! As it is a relatively young company with employees from different backgrounds, I expect there to be various ways of working. I will have to find my own way in how best to harmonize this. My challenge is to dive into my previous experience to figure out which way of working would suit the company best. I am eager to include the internal organization in this and to present Appsolutely in an even stronger way to external parties!
What do you expect from your new job?
I expect it’s going to be a lot of fun! I am excited to meet my colleagues, who I’m sure all contribute value to the team in their own unique way. My impression is that at Appsolutely, everyone can count on each other and is motivated to deliver qualitative work that fits the customer. And lastly, I expect that in addition to work-related activities there will also be social activities, which I am eager to participate in!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like swimming and travelling to faraway places, which hopefully will be possible again very soon. My big passion outside of work is cooking and eating. I love to experiment with different cuisines and dishes. My specialty? Vietnamese of course!
